hi,
is there anyway for me to get to the Cherry Hill trainstation from
either Metro Park of the Edison stations, even if it means changing
trains? or is it possible via bus?
I presume you mean the Cherry Hill station of the NJ Transit Atlantic
City Line. "Cherry Hill" is a rather large area and depending on your
ultimate destination in Cherry Hill you wish to go the best route may
vary. Several alternatives are provided below.

1) To specifically the Cherry Hill AC Line station:

You can take the NJT northeast corridor train line to Trenton (board
at Edison or Metro Park whatever is best). Transfer at Trenton to a
SEPTA train and take it to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. At
30th Street you would transfer to an Atlantic City train to Cherry
Hill. Note that this trip will take some time and there may be a wait
at 30th Street for the AC train.

I don't think you could go by direct bus unless you could find a bus
in Edison/Metro Park to downtown Philadelphia.

2) To various points in Cherry Hill:

In downtown Philadelphia you can get buses to many points in Cherry
Hill and there may be more frequent service than the AC train
offers.

Depending on your ultimate destination in Cherry Hill, it may be
easier to take the SEPTA train to downtown Philadephia (Market East
Station) and transfer to a NJ Transit bus to your specific destination
in Cherry Hill. Also in downtown Phila is the PATCO high-speed Line
and some of its stations may be near your ultimate desetination.

3) Alternate routing
An additional option would be to transfer at Trenton to the NJT River
Line and be picked up at the Rt 73 station (not that far from the AC
Line Cherry Hill Station). The River Line does not go directly to
Cherry Hill, but runs somewhat close it. This routing avoids going
into downtown Phila and out again.

4) Alternate Routing
For another choice, you can take the NJT River Line to the Walter Rand
station where many NJT buses operate to various points in Cherry Hill.

Schedules may be found at www.njtransit.com and www.septa.org The
schedules have route schematics on them and studying them would be
helpful. NJT also has a system wide rail map which might be helpful,
and a very detailed map of the River Line and area. Good luck!

Naah, as the other poster said, it is a difficult transfer from the
NEC. I am curious what are you trying to accomplish.

You might be better off on the Lindenwold line. There are frequent
busses from Camden and Lindenwold.

It is very easy to transfer at Trenton, to either SEPTA for
Philadelphia or to the NJT River Line for south Jersey.

It really depends on the ultimate destination. If the person can be
picked up at River Line station, I would recommend that approach.

Yes, I understand that, but were you not asking about Cherry Hill
Station on the AC Line?

That is what I was referring to. I looked there are two bus lines
running past the station on route 70.

I still would like to know what you are trying to accomplish.

The Lindenwold line might be better.

If someone can pick you up, this would be the best choice.
