That's great news! The critics who say this stimulus money is wasteful
have no clue. Its projects like this that will create jobs and improve
public transportation, which will benefit the people in the Philadelphia
region for many years to come.

Speaking personally it sounds like my BSL station(S. Garden) will
finally
get its LONG OVERDUE rehab since it's on the top of the list.

Septa, to their credit, does paint over any graffiti that shows up at
S. Garden
very quickly. But the station is awful. Bad lighting. And years of
old mold
and mildew on the walls.

I will be very interested to see how they will go about the rehab
since the
station is heavily used especially during day time hours.

People/Republicans, say from "red states", don't often care about pub.
transportation
so they see Septa's "gift" as pork. While we see it as essential.
